Water and Light by Eyde Arndell
“Water and Light” by Eyde Arndell is on view at The Corridor Gallery during April and May. Arndell’s oil paintings are completed in a rich and expressive style inspired by Vincent Van Gogh and Edvard Munch. She works to capture the essence of the sun during the precious and fleeting golden hour. Arndell paintings of water, movement and light reflect the rhythms of nature.
Eyde Arndell is originally from Southern Indiana, also having spent time in San Diego, California. She currently resides in Carbondale, Illinois, where she paints in her home studio. Arndell is a self-taught artist and feels her studio practice taps into a feeling too complex for words, yet so simple and universal, this feeling brings her to the easel again and again.
The Corridor Gallery is located in the Carbondale Civic Center. View the “Water and Light” Mondays- Fridays from 8:30am-5pm. To purchase artwork, contact Artspace 304 at exhibits@artspace304.org or call 618-457-5100.
