All Southern High School Theater Project brings together high school students from across the region for a summer of theater workshops, rehearsals, and hands-on internships. ASHSTP TM enables talented high school students to work with professional directors, musicians, and choreographers to learn all aspects of musical theater performance. ASHSTP TM interns gain experience in stage production and design as part of the Summer Youth Employment in the Arts Program, underwritten by the Illinois Arts Council, the City of Carbondale, and the Neil and Mary Ellen Dillard Scholarship Fund and contributors to the Rising Star Fund.
