Create Joy | Emily Drew Yates

Create Joy! showcases mixed media paintings by Emily Drew Yates, of Elkville, IL. Brightly colored brushstrokes of watercolors, acrylics, ink, and metallics mix on the canvases of Emily’s paintings. Her subject matter, while always joyous, also contains environmental themes with illustrations of fauna and floral. 

Watercolor Cartography, a companion exhibition by Emily Drew Yates, at the Corridor Gallery, located inside the Carbondale Civic Center. These watercolor maps are inspired by national parks and forests that Emily has traveled to.
