The Handmade Expo

Calling all Southern Illinois’ regional artists and craftspeople! Apply for The Handmade Expo, a holiday gift-giving gallery event. The Handmade Expo will showcase our region’s talent in a curated exhibition of unique and original artwork for the holiday season.

Accepted artwork mediums: painting, drawing, printmaking, ceramics, glass, jewelry, sculpture, woodworking, photography, textiles, etc. Artists will be asked to provide a description of their studio, their artwork techniques and processes that will be in a binder for patrons to learn more about your practice. Applications are due Sunday, November 10 at 11:59pm. 

The Handmade Expo will be on view at Artspace 304 November 22 – January 4.

Timeline:

Artwork Submission Deadline: November 10, 11:59 pm
Notification of Acceptance: November 11, by 5pm
Drop off of artwork: November 13 – 16, (Wednesday – Saturday) 12-5pm, 12-5 pm
Dates of Exhibition: November 22 – January 4
Reception: Friday, November 22, 5 – 7 pm
Pickup of unsold artwork: January 8-11, (Wednesday – Saturday) 12-5pm
