MFA Exhibition: Flight by Lavinia Roberts
Flight by Lavinia Roberts is on view at Artspace 304 from April 19 – 22. The exhibition will be in the Neil and Mary Ellen Dillard Media and Performance Gallery. The reception will take place Friday, April 22 from 5-7 pm.
Flight is an interactive shadow puppetry installation. Inspired by several poems by Emily Dickinson, the works thematically explore solitude, nature, and beauty. Lavinia Roberts is a visual artist, writer, and educator, graduating from SIU this spring with an MFA in Playwriting.
